OIGO is a platform where creative and innovative initiatives can be proposed, whose purposes are of a social, cultural, scientific, educational, technological or ecological nature, which help to build a community around them and contribute to the development of social welfare, to contribute to the largest possible number of beneficiaries.
We also support initiatives that include aspects aimed at reducing domestic and gender violence, and that promote equity and empathy in society.
We also value those projects that include aspects that contribute to reducing the rural-city-world digital divide.
The projects can be aligned to two types of modalities:
a) Open or public (crowdfunding): is to apply for a project in the project management system for crowdfunding, provided that the project is approved by OIGO and meets the criteria of impact, replicability, scaling and sustainability.
b) Closed or private (matchfunding): within the framework of a matchfunding call, a project is submitted through the matchfunding channel that meets all the requirements established in the bases.

This is a very important theme! That the collective impacts and returns of the projects can be replicated and scaled in other communities and overtime!
Despite the fact that there may be projects of high social interest (social good), aimed at generating positive changes in specific places or communities, Oigo is not oriented towards solidarity or social initiatives if they do not clearly establish a collective return (social impact). That is, they ensure that the project is transferable and reusable by other people or groups, achieving similar impacts and returns.
-
Oigo is not oriented towards the funding of project designed exclusively for profit. Neither can it host sales processes of products or services, or lottery campaigns, electoral campaigns, or charity fund-raising.
Just like most crowdfunding platforms, it is not a tool to fund or lead projects related to content that may result inappropriate, criminal, or which can prejudice people's dignity.

The OIGO matchfunding project management system is very simple and easy to use, just follow the sequence that unfolds in the creation of a project to be able to load it, edit it and adjust it again before it is ready for the next step. However, if the promoter of a project requires any particular support, an advisor can solve the questions, doubts or difficulties that they may have. The most important thing is the promoter's commitment to lead their project from the beginning until reaching the proposed fundraising achievement.
We are sure that you can go by yourself, easily and quickly in the process of uploading your project to the platform, but if something comes up,
let's talk.
At OIGO we are interested in accompanying your initiative by advising you from the beginning to the end of your project, so that the user gets the most out of this digital platform available to everyone and that the promoters and entities know how to configure or adapt their projects: campaigns , collective returns (social impacts), new derived products and services, etc. This advice is carried out from OIGO with a team of people who are passionate about helping.

You must consider that crowdfunding and matchfunding in general is also an act of public dissemination of budding ideas or projects, which in this way are wanted to be carried out with the support of small contributions through the Internet. In this sense, the promoter brings his project to public knowledge to raise support.
At OIGO we promote the free dissemination of projects and we respect, in the same way, that users refrain for any reason from publishing their initiatives if they consider it to be in their best interests.
We are all owners of infinite ideas and knowledge that can be channeled for social or personal benefit. OIGO values that the benefit of ideas and knowledge is social and the orientation of this digital platform arises with that purpose.
On the other hand, one of the most valued points of the projects included in the OIGO matchfunding project management system is that they can be extended and replicated in time and geographical space. So sharing knowledge is almost an implicit condition when you upload a project to the OIGO platform.
Therefore, if you cannot say what you want to do and/or do not want to share how, through collective returns, in a broad and open way, perhaps financing through the OIGO matchfunding project management system or similar fundraising platforms, are not the best option.

Of course, projects can be carried out or have an impact in Ecuador or any other territory. However, for the moment we are inclined to give priority to projects in the urban and rural sectors of Ecuador. For this reason and, given that the intention of Oigo is to grow by reinforcing local capacities with geographic proximity, it is possible that the final decision when publishing or not publishing the project on the platform is to prioritize the closest projects.
You should also consider that, if you promote a project outside of Ecuador, the currency exchange could affect your collection.

Not in the campaign, only one project is allowed at a time, but you can have several projects being edited or pending evaluation. As a general rule, the important and effective thing is to focus on a single project. Also think that in OIGO for each project the open campaigns have two rounds of co-financing of 40 days (or 20 days the second), and the closed campaigns have at least one campaign of 40 days, and you have to bet on them and work hard to spread and advance each one. In addition, in this first stage where the project is evaluated and fine-tuned, what we value is diversity, both of ideas and of people and promoter teams, so for the moment only one project per promoter can be in the campaign .

Oigo believes that yes, at least on our part there is no problem. We are aware that in certain projects there are actions that can lead to complementary processes and products (educational, research, recreational, marketing potential, transformation to other formats, or supports, etc.), that require co-financing.
To do this, it is best to study other platforms and what type of projects they support. But you must consider the timing and breakdown of the project (by phases or by-products) so that two campaigns on two different platforms do not get out of step, since this can generate confusion and suspicion among potential co-financiers.
